Δρ. Ευαγγελία Μαρινάκου. Dr. Evangelia (Lia) has an extensive teaching experience in higher education at undergraduate and postgraduate level. Besides teaching in higher education, she has supervised numerous dissertations of both undergraduate and postgraduate students, some of which have been presented at conferences jointly with the students.

She is active in research with papers presented at international conferences, and published at academic journals. Her main research interests are gender issues in management, leadership, hospitality management and education.

Highly involved in curriculum design and development with long experience at academic quality audits as well. She is a Program within colleges reviewer for the Higher Education Review Unit in Bahrain. A Senior Fellow member of Higher Education Academy, UK and expert panel member for academic quality assurance processes on behalf of the Cyprus Agency of Quality Assurance and Accreditation. She is also prerfoming quality audits on behalf of PeopleCert on organizations worldwide.

She has also acted as Project leader to European funded programmes on vocational education and training in tourism studies. She was the Principal Investigator for a project on talent management funded by Bournemouth University. Additionally, she has worked in the hospitality and tourism industry for many years.

ΔρΒαλεντίνηΚαλαργυρού, Dr. Valentini Kalargyrou is an Associate Professor of Hospitality Management at Peter T. Paul College of Business and Economics at the University of New Hampshire and a Fulbright Scholar. Her far-reaching career of more than 30 years includes academic as well as international entrepreneurship activities in the U.S., Europe, and Asia.

She has extensive industry experience in human resources management and specifically in diversity and inclusion, including leadership roles on several opening teams of integrated resorts in Las Vegas, NV. Dr. Kalargyrou outstanding and scientifically documented work on best practices in the hospitality industry is widely published in top-tier reviewed journals with over 1000 Google citations. Her primary research focus is on disability issues in the workplace and service operations.

Stavros Packeiseris a dynamic and ambitious Hotelier with more than 18 years of extensive international experience across Europe, the Middle East and South-East Asia. He has successfully led teams in several Hyatt brands as well as luxury 5-star properties. He has a proven record of developing innovative solutions, planning expertise, leadership and a keen eye for operational excellence.

His passion is to elevate the guest’s experience with a straightforward, strategic, and unique approach to each location. Having lived in different corners of the world and experiencing various cultures gives an advantage to my methodology across functions to effect organizational change through highly motivated teams..

After graduating in 2002, Stavros commenced his hospitality career as a bar supervisor at The Carlton Hotel in Edinburgh and over the subsequent 17 years, progressed through food and beverage roles on the world’s largest ocean liner RMS Queen Mary 2; and at Hyatt Regency Thessaloniki in Greece; Hyatt Regency Dushanbe in Tajikistan; Sani Resort in Halkidiki, Greece; Hyatt Capital Gate Abu Dhabi (now an Andaz); Grand Hyatt Dubai; Rixos The Palm Dubai; Palace Downtown in Dubai; and Park Hyatt Saigon in Hồ Chí Minh City. Stavros was the General Manager of Park Hyatt Maldives Hadahaaand Park Hyatt Siem Reap, the 5-star luxury hotel in Siem Reapbefore joining the team at The Hoxton Hotels as the General Manager.
